This material is widely available on the market for use with stair tread carpeting products. It is completely non-toxic, skid proof, and will not hurt your wood, stone or metal stairs. When removed it does not leave any sticky residue, and can even be re-used. We simply advise replacing the material every couple of years if the tread has been taken up often, as lint can build up on the surface of the mesh.
Newly arrived are several new designs that we will debut at the ICFF in New York on May 19th – 22nd. They include “Links” Alto steps, shown above in grey, along with matching runners, and landings. Links are available in 3 colorways. Also on view will be our Everglades rug and runner as well as the new Wave steps.
Made of the finest quality Himalayan wool, our hand-knotted rugs are made by Tibetans in the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. The wool is rich in lanolin oil, which is important both for the absorbtion of the dyes as well as the plush texture for which Tibetan rugs are famous worldwide. Our manufacturers hand spin their wool and use traditional vegetable dyes or eco-friendly Swiss Ciba colors.
